But later with time, people started believing in his project and it was finally filmed in 2010 at Wadi Rum desert in Jordan. The budget was around $32 million and it took two years to complete filming.

Still, though, it has many accolades under its belt such as Academy award for “Best Cinematography”, “Best Visual Effects” and even “Best Original Score”.
