Welcome to my website, the map of art. I am currently working on a project which involves the efforts I have been putting into this website, and I am very excited to show you all of what I have been working on. My goal is to create state map posters with modern, interesting maps that are also high quality prints.
Aside from the fact that we can use these maps for educational purposes in our classrooms, we can also use them as fun gifts for family, friends, and relatives. In fact, these maps are so fascinating that they can even be used as an awesome center piece for any home.
I have put together an extensive list of all 50 states’ art pieces along with comparison pictures in different shapes and sizes. You can check out this list in the menu above. There are also several other lists on my website including a list of the states organized by their shapes, capital cities of each state and more!
This was a long journey, but it has been well worth it and I look forward to sharing my project with you!

There are places online where you can find state map art. Here is more information about these prints and pictures along with some pictures of state map art.
Tapestry USA State Maps
There are a lot of sites out there with maps and art. Most do not have an “official” map for each state though. I don’t know why that is. I guess you can make your own state map art if you want to, but I recommend these sites because they have already done the work for you:
MountainMaps – They have an official print for every state. You can buy the art in a variety of shapes and sizes from them.
The Great American Map Company – This company has 50 state maps on one print! You can get it framed or unframed.
Atlas Maps – These are museum quality prints of each state’s official map. They are not cheap, but they are beautiful!
If you’re looking for a unique map of the United States, be sure to check out the Fifty States Project. It’s a project that is in progress. As of today, 36 states have been completed. The creator compares each state, along with things that make it special.
Not only does this give us an idea about each state, but it also allows us to see how popular the other states are among those who love art. Since the website is designed for artists and art lovers, these will be beautiful pieces of art. Some will be painted, while others may be drawn or printed on canvas or anything that can be used as a wall hanging.
T-shirts from all over the country also feature designs and sayings from every state. If you cannot find what you are looking for online, you can always hit up your local mall and see what they have to offer; many shops will have them in stock!
If you’re thinking of getting a t-shirt or print, however, don’t forget to measure your walls before buying anything; they may not fit!
If you’re looking for a state art print, whether to hang in your home or give as a gift, there are several different places to shop. While each store has their own selection of state prints, they mostly offer the same products: framed art, unframed art and throw pillow designs. Prices can vary from $25-$100 depending on shipping costs and if the print is framable or not.
I’ve been looking for a map of the United States to frame and hang in my dining room. I like the idea of having an art piece that shows all 50 states, and all their names. I’ve only found a few options, and compared them below for your convenience.
The first map, from Etsy seller TheMapArtStore , is made of wood with a nice gloss finish. It is printed on vinyl mesh, so it’s still light enough to work well on a wall. It comes in black or white, and you can choose either framed or unframed. The black option will require framing if you want glass covering the map; without glass, you can probably get away with just hanging it on the wall without any frame at all, which is what I did for my map.
The second map, from Etsy seller USAstatesmap , also comes in black or white and framed (with glass) or unframed. The main thing I like about this one is that it has each state in its own color, instead of using one color for the whole country. This makes it easier to see where each state is located.
