Hi there, I am a professional artist and i have been drawing for a long time. I have had to learn how to draw and make art on my own. I have made mistakes but i learned from them. I hope that some of the things i know will help you too.

TIP ONE: Practice, practice, practice: What the best way to get better at art is to practice! Practice makes perfect. The more you look at something and try to copy it the more you will learn. You could try copying a photo or a painting or even comic books or other artists drawings. If you want to draw better people then study their faces and body language in photos or real life. Look at how light reflects off their skin, what shadows are cast on their face, what is the texture of their clothes? It’s also important to do your own thing as well and not just copy others work all the time because then you won’t be able to develop your own style.

TIP TWO: Start small: It’s always easier to start with something small like a simple portrait or still life scene before moving onto something big like a landscape or a cityscape. If you want to draw a landscape for example start by drawing one tree and then move onto another tree
