Vlogging is the latest marketing trend in the world of business and it’s helping small business owners to further promote their brands.

The best thing about vlogs is that they allow the viewer to see a real person with real opinions. It lets you connect with your audience on a deeper level, whilst giving them an insight into your life.

So here are five tips that will help you to vlogging success:

1. Keep it short. Nobody wants to sit through an hour of content and no one will watch a video longer than 10 minutes if it’s not worth their time. Focus on what’s important and get straight to the point in order to make sure your viewers don’t forget about you.

2. Know your niche. You cannot cover everything in one video, so decide what it is that you want to talk about or market first and foremost. Don’t try and be all things to all people as nobody will watch a video on every topic under the sun.

3. Get creative – It doesn’t mean that you have to use crazy effects, but you can use tools like Animoto which work by using your images and video clips together, allowing you to create videos quickly using a variety of templates or themes, so you can add some

I am a self-confessed vlogging addict. I am passionate about the form and have loved watching it evolve over the past few years. Vlogging has revolutionised the way many bloggers and even businesses are able to reach out to their audience and I’ve seen a huge shift in how many brands are now embracing this medium. So, inspired by the new iPhone 4S, I thought that I’d put together five tips on how you can get started with vlogging…

1. Don’t be afraid to be yourself

With video blogging, you have to remember that you’re not just talking to your readers/followers, you’re talking to the camera, so be aware of your facial expressions and make sure they are appropriate for what you are trying to say.

2. Talk to your audience

Remember that people will feel more engaged if you talk directly to them as opposed to just rambling! You’ll also find that your videos come across as more natural if you don’t try too hard to “perform” for the camera – remember it’s just a blog, not an award winning movie!

3. Use other resources

When creating a video blog there is no need for every shot of you speaking to be filmed from head on.

If you are not already a video blogger, or have been thinking about starting your own vlogging channel, then the following tips will help you to get started. Vlogging is the act of creating short video clips that can be uploaded onto a host site, such as YouTube or Vimeo. The term “vlogging” was coined in 2004, when the first ever video blog was created by a man named Jawed Karim.

Before getting into the tips for successful vlogging, it should be noted that vlogging is not for everyone and it does take time and effort to set up and keep up with a vlog channel. If you do decide to start a vlog channel, then make sure that you are committed enough to see it through before you begin!

With these things in mind, let’s get started with some tips for vlog success:

1. Decide What You Want To Do With Your Vlog Channel – One of the most important things is to decide why you want to become a vlogger in the first place. Are you just doing it because it seems like fun? Or do you have something specific that you want to achieve?

2. Make Sure You Have A Good Camera – While many amateurs choose

Vlogging is a great way to connect with your audience. Your viewers will feel like they’re hanging out with you and you’ll get more personal feedback. Here are some tips that will help you have success vlogging:

1. Vlog regularly

Make videos once or twice a week at the same time each week to build a following. People will be able to set their calendars by your videos and come back for more. Consistency and regularity are key! Also, this makes it easier for viewers to find your videos.

2. Upload to multiple sites

YouTube isn’t the only site on the web where you can share your vlogs. Post your videos on Facebook and Twitter as well, so people can spread the word about them easily.

3. Make an introduction video for new subscribers

4. Make an intro video for any new product

5. Use keywords in your title, description, tags, and comments**

1. You need a business platform.

This is the whole reason for vlogging. You want people to visit your website and buy your products, or watch your videos to get more information on what you are offering. A good platform from where you can make money from is paramount. There are many platforms that can help you with this such as YouTube (free), anything with an Amazon.com link in it (If you have a product on Amazon, this is free also), Viddler (free), and JustinTV (has unlimited free streaming).

2. You need to be visible in the community. Now that you have an online presence, you need to be seen. The best way I have found to do this is by submitting my content to other sites that accept user submitted content such as SlideShare, LifeHack, and DocStoc. These sites will help draw traffic to your web channel, giving you more exposure and hopefully more followers.

3. Your videos need to be professional quality. You may not have a lot of money to invest in equipment and editing software; however, it is important that your videos are not too grainy or blurry or shaky for viewers to watch comfortably for long periods of time or for them not to keep rewinding the

Let’s be honest, you have probably been looking around for a way to promote your business or yourself. You have looked at a whole bunch of articles and videos and haven’t found much that has helped you. In fact, you might even be feeling hopeless and defeated with all of this. Well, I am here to tell you that it is not that hard if you just approach it the right way.
