Animal Crossing City Folk is just one of those games, that you’ll be addicted to. But like any good game, there are a few secrets you might want to know before you start playing. Fishing is one of these secrets.

Can You Fish?

There are a lot of people who don’t think they can fish in Animal Crossing City Folk. But, in fact, you can fish! You just need to have the right equipment. The best place to find the right equipment is Tom Nook’s store. Tom Nook has a variety of fishing rods available for purchase (as well as other types of equipment).

How Do You Fish?

Once you have your fishing rod, you should head down to the beach area. Speak with the fish salesman and choose ‘buy’. He will ask if you want to use your own rod or purchase one from him. Purchase one from him and then speak with him again and he will give you your new fishing rod.

Today I learned that my favorite site for articles about games (one of them ) has closed shop:

This is a simple guide for fishing in Animal Crossing City Folk. I have organized it by the seasons in which you can fish. Here are some of the things you will find in this guide:

– What fish appear in each season, their size and their value

– How to catch them (what to use)

– Where they appear

– What fish appear at night

The new Animal Crossing game has some new features, one of them being fishing. It’s much easier to catch fish than to catch bugs, because all you need is a net and bait.

Fish can be found in all sorts of water, from ponds to oceans, but you have to have your rod equipped and press A when you’re next to the water to start fishing. If there are any fish in the water, it’ll show you one of them swimming in the water. Then you just need to press A again and hopefully you’ll catch something!

Tuna are about as common as shrimp, but they are much bigger. You can sell them for around 500 bells apiece at Re-tail on Sunday or from Redd when he’s at the beach on Saturday. They taste great when they’re cooked!

Sea bass are pretty uncommon, but they’re worth a lot of money. You can get around 1,000 bells each if you sell them at Re-tail on Sunday morning or trade them with Redd when he’s at the beach on Saturday afternoon.

Fish that aren’t worth much include herring and smelt. Herring will sell for only 20-40 bells apiece at Nookling Junction on Saturday morning and smelt will be worth only 10-

The first thing you need to do is to find a good fishing spot. If you are fishing in the ocean, find a spot where there are a lot of fish. Casting your line into an area with no fish will result in no fish biting and you wasting your bait.

If you want to catch the best fish, they will be found in different areas at different times during the year. When it’s winter and there’s snow on the ground, fish will be found near or below the surface. In spring and fall they’ll be closer to the bottom. And during summer, they’ll be deeper than usual.

If all else fails, try changing locations and keep repeating until you get a bite. Remember that the time of day also matters. Fish bite most often around sunrise and sunset, but again this can differ depending on the season.*

Fishing Tips:* **

1) **Always have your net equipped so that when you do get a bite you can catch your prize before it gets away.* **

2) **Always wear your hat so that if the fish runs, it won’t run into anything.*
