Black and White Wall Art

Artists and photographers combined to create a black and white wall art. A blog about the creative process behind these wall arts and what inspires them.

The black and white wall art I was able to create are the result of a collaboration between myself and an artist. I have always been fascinated with different types of art, from painting to photography. I decided to venture into both areas in order to create my own unique works of art.

I am not a professional photographer nor am I a professional painter or artist. However, I have always been very interested in the creative process behind these different types of art. In particular, I have always been fascinated with how photographers and painters work together to create amazing pieces of work.

Telling you how we came to create the black and white wall arts would be quite interesting, but it is far more important that you know what inspired them. What inspired the ideas behind these images? The answer is simple: life itself.

It’s amazing to me how many major works of art have been created using a simple black and white color scheme. From the great impressionist paintings to modern day photography, the simple but effective contrast between black and white can create some truly stunning images.

I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for some time now as I’ve browsed the web looking at awesome black and white photography. It finally came to me that it would be fun to try and create black and white wall art with my camera!

I’m planning on creating several more of these in the near future, so if you’re interested please feel free to check back often!

I couldn’t find the exact artist of this black and white wall art. The art is in the style of Chinese calligraphy and very wonderful. Black and white wall art seems to be a popular trend, because it is visually beautiful and does not take up much space in your room. It is also a good way to get a modern look into your home or office.

I like the contrast between the black and white, but you can choose any colors you want. You can have pink and orange, blue and green, or whatever color combination you prefer.

In this blog I’ll talk about my creative process. The photography, the design and the whole process that goes behind creating the finished pieces of art on this website.

What inspires me? I’m inspired by many things. A good story, great music, a beautiful place or even a special moment in everyday life. Those moments are the ones that I try to capture with my camera and turn them into what you see here. Take your time to browse around because there is something for everyone here.

I am a photographer and artist based in San Francisco. My work is in galleries and on the web. I have been studying photography for about ten years, but I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. My work is influenced by graffiti, Japanese calligraphy, geometry, and symmetry.

My photography is available under a Creative Commons license (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/) which allows you to use my images for free as long as they are attributed to me with a link back to my website (http://www.blackandwhitephotography.com). “My work is a reflection of my emotions” is how one artist describes his art. “I hope that the viewer will feel the same way about it.”

The first is the attitude of an artist, the second of a photographer. And if you are a photographer who wants to become an artist, or vice versa, then you need to understand the difference.

The art world has completely different expectations from those of the photographic world. In photography, you’re supposed to be invisible: your job is to make your subjects look good. You are judged on technical skill, getting great light and using it well, and on capturing emotion or evoking beauty.

Art doesn’t care about whether you use a filter or what camera you use. It doesn’t care about light or technique. All that matters is whether you have interesting things to say and can say them well. What are you photographing? Why? How does it reflect your experience of life? What do you want people to feel when they look at your images?
