Tape off an area of the wall where you can work on your cityscape. If the wall is textured, you will need to scrape off the texture paint over the area where you plan to paint your cityscape.

When everything is dry, use a pencil to sketch out the rough image of your cityscape on the wall. Measure carefully so that all of your buildings are in proportion with each other.

Once everything is drawn out, start painting your cityscape! Be sure to include lots of color in your walls and structures to make them stand out from the background of plain white wall paint. Add details such as windows and doors, or even furniture like desks inside classrooms and ovens inside kitchens if you’d like.

When everything has been painted, wait for it all to dry and then erase the pencil marks from around your cityscape!
